Overview
Cirrus is the leader of the White Dragons of the continent of Wendigo, one of the reasons the continent is known among humans as a land of dragons. She succeeded Altanos, her father in bond if not in blood, after his death in AY 149, but has struggled to command the same standing among her own kind, even as her influence over human affairs has waned in the years since.
Appearance
Her wings are delicate, almost silk-like in their softness. Her horns curve in smooth, unbroken lines, and her scales lie so densely and evenly that the White Dragons' namesake white is nearly unbroken by any visible gap between them.
Personality
Cirrus carries herself somewhat like a timid noblewoman — cautious and easily unsettled in most matters, yet entirely without hesitation toward those she considers beneath her station.
Life
Cirrus took up the mantle of leadership after Altanos's death, but the transition did not settle the White Dragons' divisions — it deepened them. As factions split over how to regard humanity in the wake of Altanos's death, Cirrus proved able to fully command neither: unable to rally those counselling caution, and unable to hold back those bent on a harder line, some of whom broke from the lineage entirely to join dragons on the continent of Aim. Her authority over human affairs waned as well in this period, though the standing dragonkind carries simply by what it is has kept her from being disregarded outright. It was in this period that talk began to spread of a fading age of dragons.
Her bond with Nimbus, a blue dragon, has long been a quiet undercurrent to these tensions — one thread among several in a wider history of rivalry and conflict among dragonkind that is best told in full elsewhere.
