Any contributions made to this wiki are understood to transfer copyright ownership to Harim (Juoh) upon submission. Contributors may not claim ownership over any content published on Erakh Codex.
Reproduction, redistribution, or use of any content from Erakh Codex without explicit written permission from the copyright holder is strictly prohibited.
Document Structure
Single Page Principle
Each subject — whether a character, nation, event, or any other entity — must be documented on a single, self-contained page. Subpages (slash-notation style) are not permitted.
Hierarchical Relationships
Relationships between subjects (e.g. a nation belonging to a confederation) are expressed through:
- Categories
- Infobox parent fields
- Internal links within the article body
Document Creation
Only administrators (sysop) may create new documents. Document creation is done exclusively through the Create page.
Content Policy
Canon
All documents must be based on established canon of the Mirtess Chronicle. Content that has not been confirmed as canon must not be documented until it is officially established.
As the Mirtess Chronicle is an ongoing and evolving worldbuilding project, articles may be updated to reflect new canonical developments at any time.
Categories
All documents must belong to one of the following ten categories. No other categories may be used for article classification.
| Category | Description |
|---|---|
| Timeline of events in the Mirtess Chronicle | |
| Significant historical events | |
| Nations and political entities | |
| Geographic regions and locations | |
| Individuals within the world | |
| Races and species | |
| Groups and organizations | |
| Fields of knowledge and practice | |
| Cultural and religious subjects | |
| Objects and relics of significance |
Language
All content must be written in English. Erakh Codex is a monolingual wiki. Multi-language support may be introduced in the future as a separate initiative.
Infoboxes
All documents must include the appropriate infobox for their category. The only exception is the Chronicle category, which uses a timeline format and does not require an infobox.
Link Policy
Internal Links
When referencing another subject documented in Erakh Codex, internal links must be used. Editors are encouraged to link generously to related articles within the body of each document.
External Links
External links are not permitted in article content. Erakh Codex is a self-contained encyclopedia of the Mirtess Chronicle and does not reference outside sources.
